Have you ever had a psychic experience?

Yes.  Apparently it's not uncommon.  I've had a lot of dreams that have come true... the one that haunts me to this day is the one where my grandfather died.

I have pretty vivid dreams... most of which I remember.  I had been having reoccuring nightmares where I would find my grandfather's body.  One dream I would find him on the floor... the next night he would be in his recliner.... I didn't know what it meant, and I didn't want to jinx him by telling anyone.  What's the first thing anyone tells you when you wake up from a nightmare? "Don't worry, it was just a dream."

Two days before my 13th birthday I had another vivid dream about my grandfather.  I was walking through the garage... my grandmother's rabbit was sprinting around his cage, trying to get out.... I could smell the oil on the floor and smoke... some kind of smoke... like metal and fire burning the inside of my nose.  My grandfather was at his work bench with his head down.  It looked like he had fallen asleep on his arm... when I got closer and went to wake him, I noticed a hole in his temple where he had been shot.  I jumped back and ended up waking myself up.

Later that afternoon my parent got a phone call from my grandmother.  They rushed to her house in a panic.  When they got there they called and told us that they would be gone for a while.  My dream flashed in my head and my palms started to sweat.  "What's the matter?  What happened?" I asked my mother.
"There's been an accident" she told me.
"What kind of an accident?  What happened?" I pushed her.
"Your grandfather killed himself." She relented.

The day of the funeral (my 13th birthday) I spoke to my grandmother about the dream.  I described the smells... the position I saw his body... even the time on the clock sitting above his work bench...I mentioned every detail I could recall.  She told me that's exactly how she found him.

If you could live forever, would you?

Ok... if I could live forever, and never get sick or hurt... yes, I would live forever!!  If you didn't have to worry about time... or your health, imagine how much you could accomplish!  You could see the world... and as time went on, you could watch the world change.

I would read every book ever written... watch every movie ever made (yes, even the bad ones), I would travel to every place my heart has ever wanted to see.  There is nothing I couldn't learn or do, if I had forever to do it.
